Robinhood Hosted Trivia Game; Over $2M in BTC & Dogecoin Up for Grabs
Robinhood has launched a two-day trivia game within its mobile app, offering over $2 million in Bitcoin and Dogecoin prizes.
Eligible US customers participated in today’s contest at 4.45pm ET, answering 12 multiple-choice questions on finance, economics, and cryptocurrency.
Players had 10 seconds per question, and those who answer all correctly, split the $1 million Bitcoin prize.
If no one achieved a perfect score, the reward will be shared among top performers.
Thursday’s contest is exclusive to Robinhood Gold subscribers and will be hosted by comedian Scott Rogowsky, former host of HQ Trivia.
Robinhood Trivia Live kicked off with over 392,600 participants tackling 12 multiple-choice questions on finance and cryptocurrency.
By the final round, only 1,210 players remained, vying for a share of the Bitcoin prize pool.
Hosted by Rogowsky, the game opened with a seemingly simple question about Tesla and Fed Chair Jerome Powell.
However, difficulty escalated quickly—more than 230,000 users were eliminated by the third round, with another 130,000 falling when asked to identify a stock ticker absent from the S&P 500 Index.
By round four, with just 30,000 players left, crypto-focused questions emerged, including the meaning of “HODL,” Bitcoin’s total supply, and Dogecoin’s founding year.

The final challenge required identifying 2024’s largest IPO by deal size, with only 615 players answering correctly.
Each winner received approximately 0.018 BTC, valued at $1,626.01.
Gold Members Stand a Chance to Win Additional $1M in BTC
Robinhood will host another session on Thursday, exclusively for its premium Robinhood Gold subscribers.
Winners will split an additional $1 million in Bitcoin prizes, while all participants will receive an undisclosed amount of Dogecoin.
To enter, users must access the latest version of the Robinhood mobile app, available on iOS and Android.
Winners will be notified via the app and email within five days and must claim their prizes within 30 days.
Crypto rewards will be transferred at market value at the time of distribution.
While Robinhood Trivia Live marks the platform’s first contest of this kind, Vice President of Product Dheerja Kaur emphasized that there are no current plans to make it a recurring event.
Kaur said:
“We actually want to see how it does.”
